Jan 11/12 Raid Recap

We're on the board!

Monday was our first night working on actual progression raiding and I thought it went really well. Despite still missing core raiders from vacations etc. we came together and got Kargath down in 14 pulls (with multiple being the pug hunter "
testing"
his ideas out).

Looking through the logs, and just based on watching the fight last night, there is still a lot we can clean up to make this fight quicker. A couple of those things are:

1. Forcing the fist couple berserker rushes on the hunters. This was handled very well overall, but there was still issues with people standing further back then the hunters when rush was coming up.

2. Getting the proper people into chain hurl. These issues were mostly at the start of the night, and after we changed things up with the groups. Having the proper people will also allow us to handle the mobs in the stands better, which needs work as well.

3. Handling the tiger. As Birdi said last night, as soon as the tiger is kited into the fire it chooses a new target as it is disoriented. That person then has ~10 seconds to get in position at a new pillar. Ranged dps needs to focus it down while its disoriented as it takes increased damage.

Awesome job guys! Mythic Twins is next so be ready for it.

You might have mentioned this last night but what is the plan for next week. A) Start with Kar Mythic and then move to Heroic and try to finish it? B) Same as last week, start with Heroic then move to Mythic and back if we didn't get Imp Sunday? Or C) the Cheeko special?

Also, it is important to note that this random pug hunter was more geared than all of the hunters in our guild and still couldn't out-perform any of them. What up?
