So after some research on non pvp holy it seems Hpriests need

16 to 20k spirit... W.T.F. I knew they were mana-intensive but holyfuckmyarse.

So I am currently at 11784k if I were to reforge and regem 100% to spirit. I need to hit the gym.

That's a ridiculous amount of spirit. My druid runs with around 14-15k I think and that's high. Sav runs much lower I think (around 12k). 20k is like the amount of spirit people use to solo heal Garrosh.

I got it from a MMO-Champ thread where they are discussing Holy priest and the differences between the Crit, Mastery, and Haste builds. I guess I need to just jump in and redo all my spriest gear to see how it feels. Now that I have two healing trinkets I won't feel totally retarded.

Yeah spirit is a very subjective stat. Depends on the fight, your healing style, and how much mana you like to have at the end of the fight.

I'm really conservative and like to never have to worry about mana so I always higher spirit than I probably should but you won't know for sure until you try healing stuff.
