WTB new short story that I have grown to love reading from Slater.

I already did all the hard work with the subject and all, now all you have to do is start typing.

haha Just for you Schloop.

Last week was outstanding. It was probably our best raid week since we started up on Whisperwind. We one shot what we were supposed to one shot (excluding Shamans) and made progress on the progression bosses.

Thok was excellent once we figured out how to stack properly and use our range radars. We were super far ahead of the dps check and didn't even see a fire phase! Special thanks to Schloop for bringing in his uber-geared hunter and giving us that shot in the arm that we needed to get that boss down. And big thanks to Jilliumz for fixing his computer and bringing those BoPs and Aura Masteries to the raid. The Tranqs made a big difference. And thanks to everyone for not getting chomped or pulling aggro on the boss/bats and for playing at the level that I know you guys can play at.

Siegecrafter progress was short due to technical difficulties but at least we got to see it and get a feel for it. It should be smoother this week since we'll have Iffi back to tank instead of my under-geared bear and we'll have me on belts. The big things that we need to work on based on our attempts last week are:

- killing the shredders quicker (this is mostly a tank thing although a couple of dots after a [url=https:
//www.
youtube.
com/watch?v=pZNQNELfd0g:3t5nxj25]Death From Above 1979[/url:3t5nxj25] wouldn't hurt)

- target switching. Like basically every fight in WoW ever the adds are a higher priority than the boss. This means switching instantly to the overcharged missiles or mines. The logs show that only 1-2 people really switched to the missiles and that hurt us a lot

- avoiding the bad on the ground. Some the logs show people with 4-6 stacks of Superheated (standing in fire). That's way too much. Same with the shock wave from the missiles. These are mechanics that exist on normal so I expect people to know how to avoid them at this point. I know on heroic we're seeing multiple weapons at once but we're really overgeared for this fight and we're all great players so I have faith that we can do it.

This week will hopefully be more of the same. We'll be starting fresh tomorrow night and I expect Thok dead by 10pm server time. One shots all the way up there. Everyone knows their roles and the strats that we use at this point so we'll be pulling quickly and efficiently. With me not having to tank and do loot this week I expect Iffi and Wreqt to start pulling trash almost as soon as a boss dies so start running and we'll sort loot out on the way to the next boss.

We really turned things around in a positive way as a group last week so let's use that momentum to set some new best kill times and make some great progress on Siegecrafter!

YAY SLATER STORY IS BEST STORY!

But Yeah, last week was, from my point of view, Beyond Epic! Hope that we can pull that off again!
